The first term this year

These past few months have had their ups and downs, but I can't complain. Even if things didn't happen the way I wanted.
First of all, the very start of this year was pretty incredible. For the first time ever I went to the U.S.A. But it wasn't a family trip at all, I went there all by myself because I was invited to go to Sundance Film Festival at Park City! What a wonderful time that was! You're probably wondering why, well the thing is, last year I made a short film for the Ghetto Film School after one of their online masterclasses, and on December they selected the best 6 shorts and mine was among them! Unbelievable...
It never crossed my mind something like that would ever happen to me, but without even realizing it I was stepping on american ground.
We were 6 film students, all of us from different countries, all together in one place for 5 days. It was a little crazy at the beginning, getting used to all the different english accents and stuff. But it was a nice ride. I loved every second of it and I'll remember it dearly forever.

After all this craziness  back in Chile I helped my boyfriend to shoot a gore short film that he had in mind. It was a bit "gory" but it was good fun. We all ended up very tired, the last day of shooting we shot all night long and we made of his house a complete mess, there was fake blood everywhere! But it was all worth it. The short film turn out to be very entertaining. A nice blood wash, hahaha.

Winter came and our classes began, I wasn't very excited, summer happened so fast and I didn't want it to end.

Let's hope this year has a nice ending.
